Sharon, We were saddened to read of your mother's passing and want to extend condolences to you and your family. We remember your mother as she looked on the beautiful photo and seeing it brought back many wonderful memories of our teaching days in Grand Falls when we often shared at meal at your home. I remember once when she served for dessert a sponge cake that my mother used to make. I have never had it anywhere else and it gave me a really warm feeling of being at home. Three years ago I was visiting my father in GF hospital and I read in the Advertiser that there was a 90th. birthday party for Mrs. Sutton so I attended and luckily your mother was there. It was wonderful to see her after all these years. She still had that beautiful smile and gentle look. Your mother was a very kind and gracious lady who had a special place in her heart for the students she taught and she was loved by all who knew her. We know your loss is a great one. Death is never easy regardless of age and circumstnce, but be assured that those of us who were touched by her kindness will hold onto the memory. Be assured of our thoughts and prayers at this time.
